You've probably heard of the old saying that children are the future, assuming they will be able to do something special one day.  We believe that children are the present, and their testimonies, witness, and Christian service can make a difference today.  Our youth groups are challenged to be in God's word daily, memorize scripture, use their talents for God's glory, along with several other attributes to grow them spiritually.  Need a place for your child to grow?  Then bring them to Hillcrest! In the Center of the Bible is a Hymn book, the book of Psalms. Just as the Bible places and importance on music in worship, we also believe that music plays vital role in private and public worship. Our blended services include a variety of styles and interests form the traditional to the contemporary. It is so important to start teaching children at a very young age about Christ.  Our Children's Ministries are specially designed with that thought in mind.  All that we teach centers around the theme of growing closer to Christ by knowing His way through knowing His word.  (click here to learn more)

"Go ye therefore .  . . even unto the end of the world." Matthew 28:10-20

These words of our Savior are dear to the heart of any Baptist. They are challenging words, motivating words, the marching orders of the church…they are the “Great Commission.” Our purpose is to make Christ known in all the world, and to make disciples in all nations. We are in partnership with Christ in this Co-mission! Remove the prefix ‘co’ and you have ‘mission.’ Missions (evangelizing and new church planting) are promoted, sponsored, and supported to a great extent here at Hillcrest Baptist Church. From our annual ‘Missions Conference’ in the fall, our Thanksgiving Missions Offering, Christmas Mission Offering, Mission Builders, as well as various mission trips throughout the year, there is always an opportunity for EVERYONE to participate in some type of mission endeavor. At the present time, HBC sponsors and/or supports 27 missions and ministries on a regular monthly basis. We count it a great privilege to cooperate with other churches in the American Baptist Association to advance the Word and Work of Christ! (click here to learn more)
