Leadership

Pastor Mike holds a Masters Degree in Theology and began serving in ministry in 1994. He has served as Youth Pastor and then Associate Pastor along with being involved in many areas of ministry before accepting the Senior Pastorate in 2012. Pastor Mike and Angela were married May 16, 1987, in Orlando, Florida, relocated to the Atlanta area, and joined Hillcrest when it was still a mission in 1993.

Tonia has a passion for children and a vision to see children and families in our community come to Christ. Over the past 25 years she has worked in early childhood education and served in children's ministry. She and her husband, Frank, have raised two boys and are now enjoying their role as grandparents. Tonia is a GriefShare facilitator and also serves in community outreach. Both Tonia and Frank serve in the music ministry. Her hobbies include nature & wildlife photography, hiking, and writing. She is a published children's author, inspired by her love of nature and personal life experiences to write books that share the love of God with children. 

Aaron serves as our Music and Media Minister. He holds a Associate's Degree in Church Music and a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Texas Baptist Institute & Seminary and is also certified in Audio Engineering from The Recording Conservatory of Austin. Aaron and his wife Jenny moved from Texas to serve at Hillcrest in October of 2022.

It is a blessing and privilege to have Joy step in and fill this incredible need that we couldn't do without. She has been a faithful servant to the Lord and to our church. Whether you get her on the phone or are greeted by her in person, you will experience her sweet spirit and see exactly how she lives up to her name.
